Amazon Prime Video is out with the official trailer for the third season of the hit animated fantasy series The Legend of Vox Machina. The foul-mouthed adventurers are gearing up for a hellishly harrowing odyssey, journeying to the heart of hell and back again to save Exandria from unfathomable threats.

Enduring the Cinder King

In the new season, Vox Machina will confront Thordak, the self-proclaimed “Cinder King,” and his encroaching armies of dragons and otherworldly fiends. This journey is going to bring on high stakes, intense battles, and much emotional turmoil. To set the tone for the coming chaotic adventure, a song of choice in the trailer is AWOLNATION’s new album The Phantom Five, featuring the thrilling song “Bang Your Head.”

Premiere Details

The Legend of Vox Machina Season 3 is scheduled to be released on Amazon Prime Video on October 3rd. The show will have a total of 12 episodes, released three weekly. The piece is a co-production of Amazon MGM Studios, Critical Role, and animation studio Titmouse.

Production and Cast

The series stars and is executive produced by the prolific founders and members of Critical Role, including Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham, along with a host of other talented voice actors. Joining them as executive producers are industry veterans Brandon Auman, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, and Ben Kalina.

The next season will pick up on the story from the second one, released in January 2023.
